Job summary

Sanctuary Group is hiring a part-time Cleaner at 3 Hilltop, Bury St Edmunds. You’ll provide a personalised cleaning service, keep areas clean and safe, and handle supplies. The role supports residents in a disability service with a compassionate, community-focused team.

We offer 15 hours per week, at £12.71 per hour, and a range of benefits including pension and health support. Ability to work flexibly is valued, with commitment to professional development and inclusivity.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or domestic duties is helpful but not essential.
• Caring, approachable and compassionate attitude.
• Enthusiastic and flexible approach.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
• NVQ Level 2 in Hospitality and Catering or willingness to work towards it.

Responsibilities

• Provide a personalised cleaning service that meets customers’ needs.
• Keep communal and service areas clean, comfortable and safe.
• Use housekeeping equipment responsibly and maintain standards.
• Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies when needed.
