Position: Domestic Assistant

Care home: Woolston House

Location: Woolston, Warrington

Contract type: Full-time contracts, 40 hours - Day shifts - Weekends required

Rate: £12.21 per hour

Are you proud of your cleaning standards and attention to detail? As a Domestic Assistant, you'll ensure our home remains clean and welcoming for residents and staff alike.

You will perform daily and weekly cleaning routines, including dusting, mopping, polishing, and vacuuming.

You will clean all areas of the home, including bedrooms, lounges, kitchens, bathrooms, and offices.

About the role

Our Domestic Assistants maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Your responsibilities include:

• Carrying out daily and weekly cleaning routines and ad-hoc duties
• Cleaning and tidying designated areas, including bedrooms, lounges, kitchens, bathrooms, and offices
• Performing dusting, mopping, polishing, vacuuming, and using equipment like carpet cleaners
• Supporting with laundry duties
• Reporting breakages, damages, and hazards
• Building trust and promoting dignity, independence, and choice for residents

We will support you with induction, buddying, and ongoing training, especially if you are new to the care sector. Relevant experience is valued but not essential.
