We are currently recruiting for a Domestic Assistant position within our Domestic Services Team at the Western Isles Hospital, located at Macaulay Road, Stornoway, Isle of Lewis, HS1 2AF.

Job Details

• Band 2 - £24,647 to £26,763 pro rata
• Plus £1,349 Distant Island Allowance pro rata
• 20 hours per week
• Permanent post

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will undertake a wide range of cleaning duties to maintain high standards of cleanliness and support the hospital's service quality. They will also support and work alongside new staff in the environment.

Requirements

• Achieve Mandatory Induction Standards for Healthcare Support Workers within three months (full-time) or up to six months (part-time).
• Register with the PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) Scheme.
