Job summary

Healthcare Homes Group is seeking a part-time Domestic Assistant for Foxearth Lodge in Saxtead. The role offers 33 hours per week, including every other weekend, with a thorough induction and training programme.

You will ensure residents' rooms and communal areas stay clean, prepare rooms for viewings and admissions, and manage cleaning stock and chemicals. A supportive team and extensive benefits package await. No previous experience is required as training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Domestic Assistant is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Willingness to undergo induction and training

5.5 shifts - 9am- 2:30pm/8:30am-2pm/9:30am-3pm

Foxearth Lodge provides nursing, residential, respite and dementia care to residents within the area of Saxtead in Suffolk. The home can also provide care for younger people with physical disabilities. The environment within the home is calming and cheerful among staff and residents – there is a real family feel.

What would a typical day look like?

• Ensuring our residents rooms and communal areas remain clean and tidy
• Preparing vacant rooms for viewings and new admissions
• Stock control and storage of cleaning equipment and chemicals
