Job summary

Bilney Hall in Dereham is seeking a Domestic Assistant to maintain clean and welcoming resident areas. Join a friendly housekeeping team at Healthcare Homes Holdings Limited and help make a difference in residents' lives.

You will work 25.5 hours per week, including every other weekend, at £12.71 per hour. Shift patterns are 8am-1pm/2pm or 9am-2pm/3pm, with bank shifts to cover annual leave and sickness. A thorough induction and ongoing training are provided through the Healthcare Homes Academy.

Qualifications

• Good attention to detail and a caring, respectful approach.
• Experience in housekeeping or care setting is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring residents' rooms and communal areas remain clean and tidy.
• Preparing vacant rooms for viewings and admissions.
• Stock control and storage of cleaning equipment and chemicals.

Bilney Hall is situated in the picturesque village of East Bilney and is surrounded by six acres of secluded land. The gardens are very special and feature ancient vines, Spanish apple trees, honey bee hives and more. The home enjoys celebrating its history and within the home is a board telling you all about the building.

What would a typical day look like?

• Ensuring our residents rooms and communal areas remain clean and tidy
• Preparing vacant rooms for viewings and new admissions
• Stock control and storage of cleaning equipment and chemicals
