Mossvale Care Home in Glasgow is seeking a Domestic Assistant to help keep resident areas clean, safe and welcoming. You will clean rooms, bathrooms and communal spaces, and assist with laundry, ensuring belongings are handled with care.

You will work as part of a team following infection control, health and safety procedures, contributing to a respectful and comfortable environment for residents and staff.

Formación

Our care home is situated in the east end of Glasgow and is an impressive custom built facility, which provides care for up to 60-residents.

Domestic Assistant Contract

• £12.71 per hour
• Contracted to 20 hours per week
• Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As Domestic Assistant, you will play an essential role in creating a clean, safe and welcoming environment that supports wellbeing, dignity and comfort. This is a hands on role where your attention to detail and high standards will have a direct impact on daily life.

You will be responsible for cleaning residents’ rooms, bathrooms and communal areas, ensuring all spaces are maintained to a high standard of hygiene and presentation. You will also support laundry services, helping to ensure personal belongings are handled with care and returned correctly.

Working closely with the wider team, you will follow infection control, health and safety and cleaning procedures, ensuring all tasks are completed safely and in line with required standards. Your role will contribute to a well organised, respectful and comfortable environment for everyone.
