Job summary

CARE CONCERN GROUP LIMITED is seeking a Domestic Assistant at our Lennoxtown care home. This hands-on role focuses on keeping rooms, bathrooms and communal areas exceptionally clean, while also supporting laundry services and belongings handling with care.

You will follow infection control and safety procedures to maintain a hygienic environment, contributing to residents’ wellbeing, dignity and comfort. Previous experience is welcome but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Clean residents’ rooms, bathrooms and communal areas to a high standard of hygiene and presentation.
• Support laundry services and ensure personal belongings are handled with care and returned correctly.
• Follow infection control, health and safety and cleaning procedures to perform tasks safely.
• Contribute to a well organised, respectful and comfortable environment for residents and staff.

Our luxury care home based in Lennoxtown, delivering the highest levels of Residential, Dementia, Respite & Nursing care for 96-residents.

Domestic Assistant Contract

• £12.71 per hour
• Contracted to 40 hours per week
• Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As Domestic Assistant, you will play an essential role in creating a clean, safe and welcoming environment that supports wellbeing, dignity and comfort. This is a hands on role where your attention to detail and high standards will have a direct impact on daily life.

You will be responsible for cleaning residents’ rooms, bathrooms and communal areas, ensuring all spaces are maintained to a high standard of hygiene and presentation. You will also support laundry services, helping to ensure personal belongings are handled with care and returned correctly.

Working closely with the wider team, you will follow infection control, health and safety and cleaning procedures, ensuring all tasks are completed safely and in line with required standards. Your role will contribute to a well organised, respectful and comfortable environment for everyone.
