Job summary

Drumnadrochit Medical Practice in NHS Highland is seeking a Domestic Assistant to work 5.30pm–8pm, Monday to Friday (9.6 hours per week). Duties include cleaning to a high standard to maintain a safe, clean and hygienic environment for patients and staff.

Training will be provided; cover may be required for sickness and annual leave among the team of three domestics. Informal enquiries can be directed to Mhairi Marshall.

• Bank domestic assistants available

• Assist with other domestic duties as required to support the practice team.

Previous experience is desirable, although full training will be provided. Domestic Assistants can be asked to provide cover for colleagues sickness and annual leave (3 domestics). We also have bank domestic assistants.

Additional Information For Candidates

• Effective from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours. Part-time hours will be adjusted on a pro-rata basis. There will be an increase in the hourly rate to ensure that pay remains unaffected.
