Job summary

NHS Scotland is inviting applications for a Domestic Assistant (Band 2) to join our Domestic Services Team at the Health Board Offices in Stornoway, Isle of Lewis. The role involves a part-time schedule 14.40 hours per week, with a permanent contract and evening shifts 6.06pm-8.30pm on Mondays and 5.30pm–8.30pm Tue-Fri.

You will deliver cleaning services to patients, staff and visitors, maintaining a safe, welcoming environment and meeting National Cleaning Services standards.

Qualifications

• The successful candidate will provide a cleaning service to patients, staff and visitors, meeting required standards as per the National Cleaning Services Specification.
• Must achieve the Mandatory Induction Standards for Healthcare Support Workers and comply with the Code of Conduct within three months of full-time employment or up to six months for part-time workers.

The opportunity has arisen for a Domestic Assistant post, to join our Domestic Services Team within the Health Board Offices Stornoway, Isle of Lewis, HS1.

The successful candidate will provide a cleaning service to patients, staff and visitors through the use of effective and efficient methods, which deliver a safe and welcoming environment, and to meet the required standards, as per the National Cleaning Services Specification.

To work alongside and support new staff in the working environment.

The primary work base will be within the Health Board Offices, South Beach, Stornoway, Isles of Lewis.
