Job summary

Nova Artes Engineering is seeking an experienced Domestic Air Conditioning Installer to cover Gloucester and surrounding areas. The role focuses on installation, commissioning, servicing and fault-finding of domestic A/C systems, with a company vehicle and ongoing training provided.

You will install split and multi-split systems, perform testing, service existing units, and diagnose faults while maintaining professional customer service and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience installing domestic air conditioning systems.
• F-Gas Category 1 certification (optional)
• Good knowledge of refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• A full UK driving licence.
• The ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
• Relevant electrical qualifications and experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Install split and multi-split domestic air conditioning systems.
• Carry out commissioning and testing of new installations.
• Service and maintain existing systems.
• Diagnose and repair faults.
• Handle refrigerant recovery, evacuation and charging.
• Complete installation and service documentation.
• Work directly with customers and maintain a professional standard of service.

Salary: Up to £42,000 per year + paid travel time

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Domestic Air Conditioning Installer to join an established and growing team covering Gloucester and the surrounding areas.

The Role

As a Domestic Air Conditioning Installer, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing and fault-finding of air conditioning systems in domestic properties.

• Installing split and multi-split domestic air conditioning systems
• Carrying out commissioning and testing of new installations
• Servicing and maintaining existing systems
• Diagnosing and repairing faults
• Refrigerant recovery, evacuation and charging
• Completing installation and service documentation
• Working directly with customers and maintaining a professional standard of service
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to the required standards
• Travelling to customer sites across Gloucester and surrounding areas

About You

We are looking for an engineer with previous experience installing domestic air conditioning systems who can work independently and take pride in delivering a high standard of workmanship.
