South Asian Womens Refuge in Bedford provides a safe haven for women and their children fleeing domestic abuse. We can accommodate up to 6 women, with or without dependent children.
Bedford Womens Refuge, Butterfly House, is a safe haven for women and their children, fleeing domestic abuse. This new provision accommodates up to 10 women, either with or without dependent children with a safe and stable place for them to live, whilst accessing therapeutic recovery support.
We're looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Specialist Coach to provide high-quality, person-centred support to our survivors, helping them to achieve and become as independent as possible. The successful candidate will be supporting survivors at our dispersed properties and offer resettlement for survivors in refuge.
You will manage a caseload of customers through their journey, enabling them to articulate their aspirations and realise their potential. You will manage referrals into the service, undertake interviews and assessments and notify potential customers of the outcomes of these activities. You will also induct new customers into the service and deliver quality, outcome-focused support sessions in both one-to-one sessions and group sessions.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Appointment to this role will be subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service Check, satisfactory references, and possession of a valid Right to Work document.
