Job summary

The National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC) is seeking an experienced Domestic Abuse Practice Advisor to lead policy reviews and risk assessment development across the Helpline. You will draw on extensive domestic abuse experience to strengthen safeguarding responses and staff support nationwide.

You will provide live guidance to frontline teams, manage high-risk contacts where needed, and foster partnerships with other organisations to extend the service reach.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Domestic Abuse support or prevention.
• Ability to review and implement safeguarding policies.
• Experience in delivering staff training and guidance.

Responsibilities

• Lead reviews of policies and risk assessment frameworks.
• Develop and deliver training to staff across roles.
• Provide live advice to Helpline staff and manage high-risk or complex contacts.
• Develop new partnerships with other organisations to enhance the service.
• Promote equality, diversity and inclusion in service delivery.
