A leading legal firm is recruiting a skilled Document Production Technician to join their high-performing team on the midnight shift. This role suits someone experienced in producing complex legal documents and working outside standard business hours. Initially home-based, the position requires fast, accurate typing and advanced skills in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio. Responsibilities include producing and amending business-critical documents, proofreading, and ensuring effective communication during shifts.

Qualifications

• Strong document production experience within a professional services environment.
• Fast and accurate typing, minimum 65 wpm.
• Advanced user of Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Visio (2016).
• Able to work with scanned and corrupt documents.

Responsibilities

• Produce and amend lengthy, complex and business-critical documents.
• Format documents in line with strict house style templates.
• Proofread all output for spelling, grammar, layout and consistency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with corrupt or problematic documents.
• Manage internal and external calls in a professional and helpful manner.
• Ensure effective and detailed shift handovers.
• Share best practice, document fixes and technical knowledge with the wider team.
• Support team needs, including occasional shift adjustments for training or meetings (with notice).

The position will be home-based initially, with office arrangements subject to future updates.

• Produce and amend lengthy, complex and business-critical documents with speed and accuracy.
• Format documents in line with strict house style templates.
• Proofread all output for spelling, grammar, layout and overall consistency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with corrupt or problematic documents.
• Manage internal and external calls in a professional and helpful manner.
• Ensure effective and detailed shift handovers.

• MOS Word Expert qualification preferred (additional MOS certifications beneficial).
