Job summary

Metlen Plc is seeking a Document Controller for the Renewables Division in the UK. The role focuses on managing, distributing, and controlling project documentation throughout the construction lifecycle to support compliance, quality and efficient delivery.

You will work with the Document Control Manager and project teams to ensure accurate, up-to-date information is available to clients and subcontractors, maintaining document control procedures and ISO 9001 standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in administrative or document control roles is desirable.
• Experience in construction, engineering, infrastructure, or renewable energy projects is an advantage.
• Good IT skills including Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Register, receive, distribute, and archive project documents per procedures.
• Ensure latest approved drawings and docs are accessible via the Document Management System.
• Maintain document registers and audit trails throughout the project lifecycle.
• Issue document reference numbers and manage revisions as required.
• Monitor workflows to ensure timely review, approval and distribution.
• Assist with managing transmittals and project reporting.
