Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is supporting a UK HVAC engineering company in Gillingham to recruit a Document Controller with a technical background. You will manage project documentation for nuclear powerplants and offshore oil rigs.

You will read and interpret CAD drawings, collaborate with engineers and project managers, ensure data meets safety standards, and route RFIs and design approvals efficiently.

Qualifications

• Experience as document controller in a technical/engineering setting.
• Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings.
• Willing to train and progress in a fast-changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Reading and interpreting detailed CAD drawings.
• Work closely with a tightly knit team of engineers and project managers.
• Ensure data meets international safety standards.
• Managing the routing and turnaround of RFIs and design approvals.
