Looking for your next Document Control role where you'll be part of a major project from the early stages through to delivery?
I'm recruiting a Document Controller for a leading main contractor working on a significant new student accommodation development.
The project will deliver 1050 student bedspaces across a multi-building development, with completion expected in 2028. It's a substantial scheme involving a large project team, multiple consultants and subcontractors, and a considerable amount of technical information to keep organised and under control.
This is an opportunity to join an established contractor on a project where good Document Control really matters.
You'll play a central role in keeping project information accurate, accessible and up to date. From drawings and technical submissions to correspondence and document registers, you'll help ensure the right people have the right information when they need it.
You’ll work closely with the site, design and wider project teams, helping maintain a reliable document management process throughout the construction programme.
With a two-year contract, this is also a good opportunity to gain further experience on a major development and strengthen your CV with a well-known name in the construction industry.
You’ll have previous experience in a Document Controller role within construction, ideally working for a main contractor or on a large building project.
You’ll be organised, methodical and comfortable managing a high volume of information without losing sight of the details. Good communication skills are important, as you’ll be dealing with people across different disciplines and helping them get the information they need.
You’ll also be confident using electronic document management systems and Microsoft Office. Experience with platforms such as Viewpoint, Asite, Aconex or similar would be useful.
Above all, we’re looking for someone reliable, proactive and happy to take ownership of their work.
