Job summary

Piramal Pharma Solutions, Riverview site, seeks an Operational Excellence / Continuous Improvement Engineer to own the Daily Management System and drive site savings. You will lead Kaizen-style projects, apply PDCA and Six Sigma methods, and partner with OE leadership to sustain gains across manufacturing, QA, and support functions.

The role demands hands-on floor time, strong communication, and the ability to travel as needed within a regulated pharma environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering (minimum requirement).
3+ years of relevant experience in operational excellence, continuous improvement, manufacturing, or a regulated operating environment.
Hands-on experience running Tier meetings or a Daily Management System is strongly preferred.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred; Black Belt is a plus.
Experience in pharmaceutical, chemical, GMP, or a regulated manufacturing environment is preferred.
Strong presentation skills and ability to drive work to closure.
Proficiency with MS Office and data visualization or dashboard tools.

Responsibilities

Own the Daily Management System across Tier 1–3 and sustain practical visual management and KPI ownership.
Lead continuous improvement projects end-to-end and track benefits with leadership reviews.
Drive value stream mapping and cross-functional problem solving using PDCA, 5 Why, and Six Sigma tools.
Prepare structured KPI updates for site and senior leadership with accurate data.
Translate operational issues into clear updates with impact, owner, due dates, and outcomes.
Support SAP S/4HANA migration workstreams and broader OE initiatives as needed.
Provide independent support during off-hours and travel as required.
