Job summary

Piramal Pharma Solutions Riverview seeks a Director, Process Development to lead the technical development of API processes, plan activities, and ensure contract terms, timelines, and cGMP compliance are met.

You will collaborate with QA, QC, Safety, Engineering and Operations, prepare technical reports, participate in site management, and guide a team to deliver OTIF project objectives while maintaining safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Master or Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum five years’ experience in research and chemical development of drugs and fine chemicals.
• Knowledge of classic and modern synthetic methods.
• Experience building and managing research teams.

Responsibilities

• Assess new projects to identify best chemical route for development.
• Lead resource allocation with senior directors.
• Provide leadership in departmental meetings and project leadership.
• Ensure timeliness, specs, and FDA requirements are met.
• Collaborate with QA, QC, Engineering and Safety departments.
