The Client

Our client is a market-leading SaaS company delivering cloud-based solutions that empower enterprise and public sector clients to make faster, smarter decisions. Backed by a US-based parent company with a strong global footprint, the UK division is now at an exciting inflection point, poised for accelerated growth and product expansion.

The business has built a reputation for delivering robust, scalable platforms that transform how organizations capture, analyze, and act on data. With a loyal client base across sectors already well-established, they are looking for a high-impact CEO to lead the UK business through its next chapter of growth and innovation.

The Role

This is a unique opportunity to lead an established rapidly scaling and innovative SaaS business, shaping its strategy and expanding its reach. The CEO will be responsible for defining and executing a growth plan, strengthening the company’s position in the market, and identifying opportunities to enhance its offerings.

The role requires a strategic thinker with deep expertise in data-driven businesses, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to engage effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams. The CEO will oversee the development of new market opportunities, foster collaboration across business units, and ensure the company remains at the forefront of its industry.

Based in London, this role will involve some international travel, including engagement with the US-based parent company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive the organization’s growth strategy, identifying opportunities to expand its offerings across public and private sector clients.
  • Strengthen collaboration across business units to improve efficiency, productivity, and overall impact.
  • Oversee financial performance, working closely with finance leaders to ensure sustainability and profitability.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leaders in healthcare and government.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring the effective delivery of high-quality services.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and manage risks proactively.

Requirements (Essential)

  • Degree-level education or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in managing a data-driven or software-based business.
  • Expertise in developing and executing growth strategies.
  • Proven track record leading a successful SaaS or software-based business
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive client relationships.
  • Experience leading complex commercial negotiations within the public sector.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
  • Experience managing revenues greater than £25m

Requirements (Non-Essential)

  • Experience working with both private and public sector clients.
  • Previous experience in expanding software products or services into new markets.
  • Experience leading (or being in the room for) M&A activity.

Location: London (Hybrid)
