About the product

The core product is a search, book and administration tool widely used by travel agents and tour operators globally. It is well-recognised within the travel industry, having won multiple awards. Traveltek is investing significantly in the existing product components to make the platform more flexible and scalable. The strategic goal is to double revenues over the next five years, with product development and innovation at the heart of that growth.

• Frontend: HTML, CSS, JS
• Middleware: MySQL along with ProxySQL and Apache
• All hosted on AWS

About the job

As Chief Product & Technology Officer (CPTO), you will own the vision, strategy, and execution of the product and technology roadmap. Ideally, you’ll come from an engineering background, where your own development achievements and knowledge will lead and inspire high-performing engineering and product teams. This will drive innovation and operational excellence in equal measure. A clear focus on delivery timelines is a key requisite. In addition, expertise and knowledge of the travel industry, and technology products in the domain, will be critical to the success of this role.

This position would be ideal for someone in a current CTO position who would be energised by the potential to tap into the ideas and innovation of hundreds of business units across the wider Juniper and Constellation Software Group.

It would also suit a CPO looking to expand into DevOps, Security and Compliance and have a greater say at executive level. However, we would also consider Chief Engineers with a track record of innovation who are currently maximising AI for development and productivity.
