Job summary

GLL is seeking a Diving Coach to run at Waltham Forest Feel Good Centre. You’ll deliver structured sessions, inspire learners, and ensure safety while fostering a fun, inclusive environment for all ages and abilities.

With Level 2 coaching and First Aid qualifications, you’ll join a mission-driven charity that values community health, flexible working, and development opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a well-structured diving programme with clear progression for pupils
• Provide high-quality coaching and safe supervision
• Grow participation in the programme and attract new pupils
• Be aware of pupils’ status, needs and abilities
• Maintain a welcoming, professional service and positive image of the centre
• Set up and manage equipment for sessions
• Deliver excellent customer service and assist with queries

Job description

GLL is looking for a Diving Coach to work at Waltham Forest Feel Good Centre. If you have the skills and ambition to join us as a Diving Coach, there's never been a more exciting time to join us. As a Diving Coach you'll be highly motivated and committed to engage and inspire pupils of all ages and abilities within a safe setting providing a fun, friendly and encouraging environment you'll pass on your knowledge to help improve pupil's performances whilst teaching the fundamental skills - you'll get great satisfaction seeing pupils progress and develop. You hold level 2 or above qualifications will ensure that you can comfortably deliver high-quality sessions at a variety of levels, abilities and age groups of children. What you'll do:

• You will be responsible for the delivery of a Diving programme which will be well structured, focussing on progression and the development of your pupils.
• The delivery of high quality coaching
• Improving the level of coaching and increasing the numbers on the programme
• Be aware of pupils status, nature and needs
• Maintain a good and positive image of the Centre to customers and the public generally by providing a welcoming, helpful and professional service.
