Job summary

Manpower, Inc. is seeking a Financial Accountant to support a major divestiture and separation programme in Basingstoke. The team will establish new entities, set up intercompany structures and financial controls while maintaining day-to-day accounting.

The role involves flexible project work across holding company accounting, entity setup, consolidation, and Group reporting, with a focus on accuracy and proactive issue resolution during the transition.

Qualifications

• Experience in holding company and BidCo accounting.
• Entity set-up and finance process implementation.
• General ledger management and reconciliations.
• Consolidations and Group reporting.
• Divestiture and separation accounting.
• Operational finance support.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain accounts for holding companies and new entities.
• Create COA, ledgers, reporting structures and processes.
• Prepare opening balance sheets and transferred balances.
• Manage intercompany accounting and reconciliations.
• Perform consolidation and group reporting.
• Validate payroll, AP, AR interfaces and other systems.
• Support divestiture and separation accounting entries.
• Identify risks and resolve issues during transition.
