Job summary

Marks Sattin Ltd. is partnering with a leading global life sciences and diagnostics organisation in a finance transformation project. This role focuses on establishing new standalone entities, updating reporting structures, and implementing accounting processes.

You will support balance sheet and P&L preparation, intercompany activities, and group reporting, while driving improvements across the finance function. Immediate availability is preferred for this project-focused position.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification or finalist preferred.
• Strong technical accounting background with financial reporting experience.
• Experience in M&A accounting and Purchase Price Allocation (PPA) highly desirable.
• Strong balance sheet reconciliation and P&L analysis skills.
• Ability to work across technical accounting and project-related activities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Available immediately or at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review balance sheets, P&L statements and financial reporting.
• Support the establishment of new legal entities, accounting structures and finance processes.
• Support M&A, divestiture and separation accounting activities.
• Assist with opening balance sheets and validation of transferred balances.
• Manage intercompany accounting, reconciliations and Group reporting.
• Support general ledger mapping, journals and consolidations.
• Assist with finance systems implementation, testing and transition activities.
• Identify accounting risks, resolve discrepancies and drive process improvements.
• Collaborate with Finance, Tax, Treasury and project teams throughout the transformation.
