Gwent Police is recruiting a Positive Action Officer on a fixed-term contract until August 2027. The role focuses on engaging with communities, promoting recruitment and progression for underrepresented groups, and supporting candidates through the recruitment journey.

It is open to police staff and PCSOs, with travel across the force area, weekend/evening work, and Welsh language consideration. Hybrid/Agile working is role dependant, with strong emphasis on outreach.

Qualificações

• Knowledge of the recruitment process is desirable.
• Ability to coach and mentor individuals to reach their potential.
• Experience delivering presentations and awareness sessions.

Responsabilidades

• Identify, increase and promote recruitment, retention and progression of people from underrepresented communities.
• Support candidates throughout the recruitment journey and collaborate with the recruitment team.
• Engage with communities and deliver presentations/awareness sessions.
• Travel across the force area to various locations and occasional weekend/evening work.
