Job summary

Royal Mail Group in Birmingham Central DO is seeking a Lead Distribution Manager for the West Midlands. You will lead operational managers across Birmingham, Worcester and Wolverhampton distribution sites and Vehicle Operating Centres, ensuring resources and plans deliver service safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe and compliant fleet and distribution operations across sites.
• Drive performance using data and continuous improvement tools.
• Coach and develop Traffic Office Managers and frontline teams.
• Optimise fleet utilisation, planning and mail movement across sites.
• Build relationships with trade unions, stakeholders and partners.
• Lead business plans and manage change with risk controls.
