Job summary

Avara Foods is seeking a skilled Distribution Driver for our Westbury Mill site in the UK. The successful candidate will enjoy a competitive hourly rate of £18.25, plus a £1.25 shift premium for night shifts. The role involves delivering feed safely to farms across the UK while adhering to health and safety regulations.

Work is scheduled 5 days a week with varying start times. Applicants must have a valid C+E licence and experience in Class 1 driving. Join us for an opportunity to grow with training and development from day one.

Qualifications

• Valid C+E licence, CPC and Tacho card required.
• Experience in Class 1 driving is essential.
• Ability to work independently and flexibly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products safely to customers across the UK.
• Maintain Health and Safety standards.
• Follow security requirements for loads.
• Report vehicle issues and concerns.
• Assist with weighbridge duties when needed.

About The Role

Do you want to earn a minimum of £875 per week? We’re looking for a Distribution Driver to join our team at our Westbury Mill site in Wiltshire!

Working Hours

5 days & 50 hours per week

Week 1: Monday to Friday between 00:00 - 04:00 start

Week 2: Monday to Friday between 12:00 - 16:00 start

Key Responsibilities

• Ensuring our product is delivered safely to our customers and sites all around the UK, as well as adhering to all driver regulations.
• Delivering feed safely to the farms while maintaining Health and Safety standards.
• Always following the security requirements of your load.
• Ensuring working hours meet required legal standards.
• Ensuring the correct protective equipment is worn continually.
• Working effectively within the time schedules so all necessary farms can be serviced.
• Reporting any vehicle issues or concerns.
• Presenting a professional image of the company on all farms and acting as a company representative liaising with site managers as required.
• Assisting and carrying out weighbridge duties when required.
• General yard duties to assist in the running of transport operations.
• Carrying out a series of different tasks as required daily in accordance with customer specification and task procedures.

What Are We Looking For?

• C+E licence, in-date CPC and Tacho card
• Experience in Class 1
• Self‑motivated, honest work ethic, and ability to be flexible as the role requires.
