Farmfoods Ltd invites applications for a Class 1 HGV/LGV (C+E) Trunking Driver based at our Warrington distribution centre. We offer permanent full-time roles with varied shifts, including weekends, and a guaranteed hours contract with overtime potential.

Hours are 45 per week at £18.22 per hour, plus benefits such as 6 weeks holiday, staff discount, and a range of staff perks. Applicants should hold a full UK licence (C+E), CPC, and tachograph qualification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver drops to shops and depots.
• Unload palletised goods using pallet truck and tail lift.
• Collect shop waste and return to depot.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks.
• Drive safely and efficiently at all times.

Job description

Class 1 HGV / LGV (C+E) Trunking Driver

- Hours: 45 hours per week
-Pay: £18.22per hour.

We are looking to recruit both experienced and newly qualified Class 1 HGV / LGV (C+E) drivers who will be based at our distribution centre in Appleton, Warrington.

We offer a permanent full time position and have a variety of shift patterns available which usually includesat least one weekend day. We may also have some part time work available.

Shift patterns available:

• Sunday to Thursday - 45 hours per week(Starting time between 4pm and 6pm)


• Tuesday to Saturday - 45 hours per week(Starting time between 4pm and 6pm)

Pay, working hours & benefits:

We offer an hourly pay rate of £18.22and you will be guaranteed a certain number of hours work per week. If you’re looking to earn a bit more then overtime is regularly available.

As one of our drivers you will:

• - Complete delivery drops to shops.


• - Unload palletised goods from the vehicle using a powered pallet truck and tail lift.


• - Collect waste and other items from the shop to return to the depot.


• - Conduct daily vehicle checks


• - Have a safe and efficient approach to driving.

You will need:

• - Full UK driving licence (with C+E entitlement).


• - Digital tachograph & CPC card.


• - No greater than 6 points on your driving licence with no dangerous driving or drink-related endorsements.


• - A friendly, positive, hard working approach to work.
