Job summary

Farmfoods Ltd is recruiting Class 1 HGV/LGV (C+E) drivers for our brand new Daventry distribution centre. Permanent full-time roles with two shift patterns: early mornings 2am–8am or afternoons 1pm–6pm. Overtime available, guaranteed hours, and potential weekend work.

Pay is £18.22–£27.50 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package including 6 weeks holiday, 15% staff discount, life assurance, pension, and more. Induction starts August 2026 at the Daventry site.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with C+E entitlement.
• Digital tachograph and CPC card required.
• No more than 6 points and no dangerous/drink-related endorsements.
• Friendly, positive, hardworking attitude.

Responsibilities

• Complete delivery drops to shops.
• Unload palletised goods using powered pallet truck and tail lift.
• Collect waste and other items from the shop to return to the depot.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks.
• Have a safe and efficient driving approach.

Class 1 HGV / LGV (C+E) Driver

- Hours: Early morning starts between 2am-8am / Afternoon starts between 1pm and 6pm
-Pay: £18.22 - £27.50 per hour.

We are looking to recruit both experienced and newly qualified Class 1 HGV / LGV (C+E) drivers who will be based at our brand new distribution centre in Daventry, Northamptonshire. Details about the new site are included below:

• Address =Logicor Park Daventry, Royal Oak Way N, Daventry, NN11 8QL.
• Induction to start from August 2026
• The brand new site includes 2026 model year Mercedes trucks with new trailers and equipment

We offer a permanent full time position and have a variety of shift patterns available which usually includesat least one weekend day. We may also have some part time work available.

Pay, working hours & benefits:

We offer an hourly pay rate of £18.22 - £27.50 per hourand you will be guaranteed a certain number of hours work per week. If you’re looking to earn a bit more then overtime is regularly available.

We have two different shift patterns currently available:

• Early morning starts between 2am-8am.
• Afternoon starts between 1pm and 6pm.

As one of our drivers you will:

• Complete delivery drops to shops.
• Unload palletised goods from the vehicle using a powered pallet truck and tail lift.
• Collect waste and other items from the shop to return to the depot.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks
• Have a safe and efficient approach to driving.

You will need:

• Full UK driving licence (with C+E entitlement).
• Digital tachograph & CPC card.
• No greater than 6 points on your driving licence with no dangerous driving or drink-related endorsements.
• A friendly, positive, hard working approach to work.
