Job summary

Pertemps Bridgwater in Cullompton is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) and Class 2 (Category C) drivers for a leading distribution client. The role offers ongoing full-time work or flexible ad hoc shifts to fit your lifestyle. You will work day or night shifts, with start times from 04:00–05:00 or 18:00–20:00, weekly pay, and opportunities to join a well-established national retailer. Valid HGV licence, CPC, and Tachograph card required.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid CPC qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Comfortable with manual handling and moving loaded cages.
• Reliable, professional and safety conscious.
• Previous store delivery experience is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Delivering goods to retail stores.
• Handballing cages at delivery points.
• Completing vehicle checks and delivery paperwork.
• Providing excellent customer service at each delivery.
• Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and efficiently.
