Job summary

Farmfoods is seeking experienced Class 1 HGV/LGV drivers for our Warrington distribution centre in Appleton. This permanent, full-time role offers varying shifts, including weekends, and an hourly rate of £18.22 with guaranteed hours and regular overtime.

You will perform early or afternoon starts, deliver to shops, unload pallets, and handle shop waste while maintaining vehicle checks and safety. Army veterans welcome.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with C+E entitlement.
• Digital tachograph and CPC card.
• No more than 6 points with no dangerous or drink driving endorsements.
• Friendly, positive and hardworking approach.

Responsibilities

• Complete delivery drops to shops.
• Unload palletised goods using a powered pallet truck and tail lift.
• Collect waste and items from shops to return to depot.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks.
• Maintain a safe and efficient driving approach.

Job description

We are looking to recruit both experienced and newly qualified Class 1 HGV / LGV (C+E) drivers who will be based at our distribution centre in Appleton, Warrington.

We offer a permanent full time position and have a variety of shift patterns available which usually includes at least one weekend day.

Pay, working hours & benefits:

We offer an hourly pay rate of £18.22 and you will be guaranteed a certain number of hours work per week. If you're looking to earn a bit more then overtime is regularly available.

SHIFTS AVAILABLE:

• Early starts: (Starting time: 1am-6am)
• Afternoon starts: (Starting time: 11am-2pm)

As one of our drivers you will:

You will need:

• Full UK driving licence (with C+E entitlement).

• No greater than 6 points on your driving licence with no dangerous driving or drink-related endorsements.
• A friendly, positive, hard working approach to work.
