Compensation: £28,050 / year

What’s the opportunity?

We’re looking for a Distribution Centre Supervisor to join our team in Elland. This key role within the logistics network involves supporting the leadership team by managing and supporting our team, coaching them to excel, and ensuring an excellent customer experience throughout the delivery process.

What does the role involve?

• Oversee unloading and receipt of goods into the warehouse
• Supervise checks and documentation on delivery vehicles, keeping records for inspection
• Conduct quality inspections of goods, initiate remedial actions, and ensure proper packaging for dispatch
• Provide leadership, training, and motivation to your team to optimize performance
• Contribute to health and safety management within the DC
• Monitor workload and ensure safety protocols are followed, including manual handling
• Supervise moving and handling of furniture and carpets
• Maintain housekeeping standards within the DC and vehicles
• Heavy lifting involved
• Every Sunday off
