Job summary

L&Q Living is seeking a Disrepair Multi Maintenance Technician to join our Repairs Team. You will perform a range of trades across the housing stock, delivering high-quality repairs with a right-first-time approach.

A manual driving license is essential; core hours are Mon-Fri 8am-5pm, with potential to earn more from callouts. We offer excellent pension, generous annual leave, health plan, life assurance and more.

Qualifications

• Sound working trade knowledge and experience.
• Experience gained within a Maintenance, site and/or Housing environment.
• NVQ trade or equivalent experience.
• Right first-time approach.
• Health and Safety Conscious.
• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Wide range of Multi trade skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of tasks including door fitting, splice repairs and locksmith work.
• Carry out bathroom sub floors, bath panels and kitchen repairs/refits.
• Perform internal/external window repairs including single/double glazing and door refits.
• Maintain effective communication and deliver a right-first-time service to residents.
• Core hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, with opportunities for call-outs.

Salary:£41,200 per annum

Working Location:London &Southeast

Persona:Mobile worker -contractual hours to be worked from various locations such as resident homeswith ad hoc office attendance as required

Join our Repairs Team at L&Q:

Our Disrepair Team in Property Services are looking for multi skilled Maintenance Technicians to join their team. The focus will be on high-quality work, outstanding customer service, and a right first-time attitude.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and well-established team, conducting a diverse range of repairs and maintenance work across our housing stock.

It is essential to have a manual driving license to carry out this role.

Your impact in the role:

Our Multi trade technicians are expected to conduct a range of tasks inclusive of internal and external door fitting, Splice repairs, General Locksmith, bathroom Sub Floors, Bath panels and framework kitchen repairs/refits and Other general Maintenance repairs.

Ideally you will also be able to conduct internal/external window repairs including single and double glazing, repairs to doors, lock refits and repairs.

It is important to have effective communication skills, have experience of working in a building and/or housing maintenance environment including a knowledge of a varied housing stock.

Customer satisfaction is of the utmost importance to L&Q and as a first line of contact to our residents. We expect our operatives to have outstanding customer service and ability to deliver a rightfirst-timeservice. Limiting follow ons and increasing satisfaction.

Core hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm in general. There is the opportunity to earn more from call outs and out of hours service.
