Job description

Bayfields Opticians & Audiologists are looking for an experienced Dispensing Optician to join our fabulous Leamington Spa Practice (CV32 4BA). This is a full time, permanent role for 5 days / 40 hours per week (Tuesday to Friday 8:45am - 5:30pm & Saturday 8:45am - 4:30pm) eye with 45-minute client testing times.

Although we are national, we are not a huge chain which means we understand the importance of local relationships and the power of choice. We aim to deliver obsessively great service to each and every one of our clients via our Welcome, Discover, Delight client journey which is at the core of what we do. We provide all clients with a 45-minute eye exam which gives our fabulous Optometrists the time to really understand their clients’ needs and lifestyles and then recommend solutions that fit best to that lifestyle.

You will work closely with your team members to ensure we provide the best solutions for our clients and their lifestyles. It’s not all about dispensing, fitting and adjusting spectacles or even teaching clients how to use contact lenses, it’s about you delivering obsessively great service every step of the client journey and putting your clients at the forefront of their time in the practice.

Key Requirements for this role:

• Registered with the General Optical Council (GOC).
• You hold the FBDO qualification.
• Demonstrated experience in a dispensing optician role.
