Job summary

Pleasley Pharmacy in Mansfield is seeking a dedicated Dispensing Assistant/ACT/ACD for a full-time, on-site role. You will dispense medicines accurately, support the dispensary team, manage stock, and assist with counter sales to ensure smooth service and patient safety.

Ideal candidates will hold a Dispenser, ACT or ACD qualification, with experience in a busy community pharmacy. Salary is up to £14.00 per hour, with 20 days annual leave plus public holidays and a pension scheme.

• Dispenser, ACT or ACD qualification required.

Responsibilities

• Accuracy checking dispensed medicines.
• Help the team with the smooth running of the dispensary.
• Dispense medication effectively and safely.
• Manage stock levels and minimise losses.
• Assist with counter sales.
• Work with the pharmacist to deliver services and achieve targets.
• Deal with queries from patients and GP surgeries.
