Superdrug Stores plc in Stockport is seeking a part-time Trainee Pharmacy Assistant or qualified Dispenser to join the busy pharmacy team. Location is Mersey Square, Stockport, with 16 hours per week over 2 or 3 days. You’ll support counter sales, assist with dispensing, and deliver excellent customer service.

No prior experience is required for the trainee role, and qualification holders can join as a Dispenser. Training and career development are provided in a dynamic retail pharmacy setting.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing or equivalent, or willingness to train.
• Passion for healthcare and customer service.
• Friendly, positive attitude and ability to learn.

We welcome applications from qualified Dispensers and those with no pharmacy experience who are eager to begin their career as a Trainee Pharmacy Assistant.

Location: Mersey Square, Stockport (SK1 1NU)

Hours: 16 hours per week worked over 2 or 3 week days.

Salary: £14.20 per hour (Dispenser) / Up to £13.15 per hour (Trainee pharmacy assistant)

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supporting the pharmacy team with counter sales and stock replenishment

• Maintaining high standards of presentation and merchandising

We’re Looking For:

• Either NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing (or equivalent) OR a keen interest in healthcare to begin your pharmacy career with us as a trainee pharmacy assistant.
• No prior experience required – just a passion for healthcare and customer service
• A friendly, positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work well in a team or independently
• Confidence to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Passionate about learning and open to training in additional services
