SUPERDRUG in Stockport is hiring for a Trainee Pharmacy Assistant or Dispenser. 16 hours per week across 2–3 weekdays, based at Mersey Square, SK1 1NU. Salary varies by role: £14.20/hour for Dispenser and up to £13.15/hour for Trainee.

We welcome applicants with or without pharmacy experience and will provide training to grow your career in healthcare and customer service.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing or equivalent, or interest to start as trainee.
• No prior experience required; passion for healthcare and customer service.
• Friendly, positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work well in a team or independently; thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Assist the pharmacy team with counter sales and stock replenishment.
• Deliver excellent service across pharmacy counter and dispensary.

We welcome applications from qualified Dispensers and those with no pharmacy experience who are eager to begin their career as a Trainee Pharmacy Assistant.

Location: Mersey Square, Stockport (SK1 1NU)

Hours: 16 hours per week worked over 2 or 3 week days.

Salary: £14.20 per hour (Dispenser) / Up to £13.15 per hour (Trainee pharmacy assistant)

What You'll Be Doing:

• Supporting the pharmacy team with counter sales and stock replenishment
• Delivering exceptional service across both the pharmacy counter and dispensary
• Ensuring customers and patients are served with care, efficiency, and professionalism
• Maintaining high standards of presentation and merchandising

We're Looking For:

• Either NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing (or equivalent) OR a keen interest in healthcare to begin your pharmacy career with us as a trainee pharmacy assistant.
• No prior experience required - just a passion for healthcare and customer service
• A friendly, positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work well in a team or independently
