Job summary

Superdrug is hiring at Stevenage for a role that welcomes qualified Dispensers and those starting out as a Trainee Pharmacy Assistant. The 13-hour week includes Wednesday and Thursday shifts, with flexible coverage across the week.

You'll work alongside the pharmacy team, handling counter sales, stock, and dispensing tasks, while delivering friendly, attentive service. Training and development are available as you grow your career.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing (or equivalent) is preferred or interest in starting a pharmacy career as a trainee assistant.
• No prior pharmacy experience required; eagerness to learn and provide great customer service.

Responsibilities

• Support the pharmacy team with counter sales and stock replenishment.
• Deliver exceptional service at the pharmacy counter and in the dispensary.
• Ensure customers are served with care, efficiency and professionalism.
• Maintain high standards of presentation and merchandising.

Location: Stevenage

Hours: 13 hours per week, primarily Wednesday AM/PM and Thursdays AM/PM with flexibility to work throughout the week.

Salary: £13.80 per hour (Dispenser) / Up to £13.00 per hour (Trainee pharmacy assistant)

What You'll Be Doing:

• Supporting the pharmacy team with counter sales and stock replenishment

We're Looking For:

• Either NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing (or equivalent) OR a keen interest in healthcare to begin your pharmacy career with us as a trainee pharmacy assistant.
• No prior experience required - just a passion for healthcare and customer service
• A friendly, positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work well in a team or independently
