Superdrug Stores plc is hiring at Rutherglen for a part-time Dispenser/ Trainee Pharmacy Assistant. The role offers 24 hours per week over Monday, Tuesday and Friday, with pay of £13.80 per hour for Dispenser and up to £13.00 per hour for Trainee.

Whether qualified or starting out, you’ll join a team committed to accessible healthcare across UK stores and clinics. Training and development are emphasised in a dynamic retail pharmacy setting.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing or equivalent is required or trainee interest.
• No prior experience required—passion for healthcare and customer service.
• Friendly, positive attitude; ability to learn quickly.

Responsabilités

We welcome applications from qualified Dispensers and those with no pharmacy experience who are eager to begin their career as a Trainee Pharmacy Assistant.

Location: Rutherglen

Hours: 24 hours per week, over 3 days Monday, Tuesday and Friday.

Salary: £13.80 per hour (Dispenser) / Up to £13.00 per hour (Trainee pharmacy assistant)

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supporting the pharmacy team with counter sales and stock replenishment
• Delivering exceptional service across both the pharmacy counter and dispensary
• Ensuring customers and patients are served with care, efficiency, and professionalism
• Maintaining high standards of presentation and merchandising

We’re Looking For:

• Either NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing (or equivalent) OR a keen interest in healthcare to begin your pharmacy career with us as a trainee pharmacy assistant.
• No prior experience required – just a passion for healthcare and customer service
• A friendly, positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work well in a team or independently
• Confidence to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Passionate about learning and open to training in additional services
