Job summary

Superdrug is recruiting for a part-time position in its pharmacy team. We welcome qualified Dispensers or those starting a career as a trainee pharmacy assistant, with no prior experience required. Hours are 12 per week (Saturdays 9am-3pm) with flexible afternoon shifts.

Salary is £13.80 per hour for dispensers or up to £13 per hour for trainee assistants, with strong training and development opportunities and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience not required; NVQ Level 2 or willingness to pursue is preferred.
• Strong interest in healthcare and customer service.
• Friendly, positive attitude and eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacy team with counter sales and stock replenishment.
• Deliver excellent service at the pharmacy counter and in the dispensary.
• Serve customers with care, efficiency and professionalism.
• Maintain high standards of presentation and merchandising.
• If NVQ2 Dispensing achieved, or interest to start as trainee, be ready to learn.
• Work well in a team or independently; adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Show willingness to train in additional services.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supporting the pharmacy team with counter sales and stock replenishment
• Delivering exceptional service across both the pharmacy counter and dispensary
• Ensuring customers and patients are served with care, efficiency, and professionalism
• Maintaining high standards of presentation and merchandising
• Either NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing (or equivalent) ORa keen interest in healthcare to begin your pharmacy career with us as a trainee pharmacy assistant.
• No prior experience required – just a passion for healthcare and customer service
• A friendly, positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work well in a team or independently
• Confidence to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Passionate about learning and open to training in additional services
