Job summary

Superdrug Stores plc in Melton Mowbray is seeking candidates for a trainee pharmacy assistant role. This 36-hour-per-week position is a 3-month fixed-term contract, with potential extension.

We welcome applications from qualified Dispensersand those with no pharmacy experiencewho are eager to begin their career as a Trainee Pharmacy Assistant.

Location: Melton Mowbray

Hours: 36 hours per week,4 DAYS MONDAY,TUESDAY, THURSDAY FRIDAY 9-5PM WITH FLEXIBILITY TO COVER HOLIDAYS ON WEDNESDAY AND SATURDAYS.

***This is a 3 month fixed term contract which may be extended.

Salary: £13.80 per hour (Dispenser) / £13.00 per hour (Trainee pharmacy assistant)

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supporting the pharmacy team with counter sales and stock replenishment

We’re Looking For:

• Either NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing (or equivalent) OR a keen interest in healthcare to begin your pharmacy career with us as a trainee pharmacy assistant.
• No prior experience required – just a passion for healthcare and customer service
• A friendly, positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work well in a team or independently
• Confidence to thrive in a fast-paced environment
