Job summary

Superdrug Stores plc in Inverness is hiring for a 28-hour-per-week pharmacy role. We welcome qualified Dispensers and those with no experience who want to start as a trainee pharmacy assistant.

The salary is £13.80 per hour for a Dispenser and up to £13.00 per hour for a trainee. You will support the pharmacy team with counter sales and stock, deliver excellent service at the counter and in dispensary, and help maintain high standards of presentation and customer care.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing (or equivalent) OR a keen interest in healthcare to begin your pharmacy career as a trainee pharmacy assistant.
• No prior experience required - just a passion for healthcare and customer service.
• Friendly, positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work well in a team or independently.
• Confidence to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Open to training in additional services.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the pharmacy team with counter sales and stock replenishment.
• Delivering exceptional service across the pharmacy counter and dispensary.

We welcome applications from qualified Dispensers and those with no pharmacy experience who are eager to begin their career as a Trainee Pharmacy Assistant.

Location: Inverness

Hours: 28 hours a week, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday with every second Saturday.
