Job summary

Superdrug Stores plc is seeking candidates for a part-time trainee pharmacy assistant position in Catford. The role welcomes qualified dispensers or those with no pharmacy experience who are eager to start their career.

Hours are 24 per week, with a salary structure of £14.20 per hour for dispensers or up to £13.15 per hour for trainees. This temporary post requires immediate availability and a passion for healthcare and customer service.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing (or equivalent).
• No prior experience required – passion for healthcare and customer service.
• Friendly, positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work well in a team or independently.
• Confident to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Open to training in additional services.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the pharmacy team with counter sales and stock replenishment.
• Delivering service across both the pharmacy counter and dispensary.
• Ensuring customers and patients are served with care, efficiency and professionalism.
• Maintaining high standards of presentation and merchandising.

We welcome applications from qualified Dispensers and those with no pharmacy experience who are eager to begin their career as a Trainee Pharmacy Assistant.

Location: Catford

Hours: 24 hours per week, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 9am till 5pm

Salary: £14.20 per hour (Dispenser) / Up to £13.15 per hour depending on age (Trainee pharmacy assistant)

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supporting the pharmacy team with counter sales and stock replenishment

We’re Looking For:

• Either NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing (or equivalent) OR a keen interest in healthcare to begin your pharmacy career with us as a trainee pharmacy assistant.
