Superdrug Stores plc is recruiting for a part-time Trainee Pharmacy Assistant at our Sydenham branch (SE26 5UA). The role welcomes both NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing holders and applicants with no prior pharmacy experience who are eager to begin their career in healthcare and customer service.

Hours are 8 per week with a preference for Mondays, and a starting pay of £13.15 per hour as a trainee (with higher pay for qualified dispensers at £14.20 per hour).

Location: Sydenham (SE26 5UA)

Hours: 8 hours per week (Working every Monday is highly preferable, would accept a Friday or Saturday worker)

Salary: £14.20 per hour (Dispenser) / Up to £13.15 per hour (Trainee pharmacy assistant)

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supporting the pharmacy team with counter sales and stock replenishment
• Delivering exceptional service across both the pharmacy counter and dispensary
• Ensuring customers and patients are served with care, efficiency, and professionalism
• Maintaining high standards of presentation and merchandising

We’re Looking For:

• Either NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing (or equivalent) ORa keen interest in healthcare to begin your pharmacy career with us as a trainee pharmacy assistant.
• No prior experience required – just a passion for healthcare and customer service
• A friendly, positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work well in a team or independently
• Confidence to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Passionate about learning and open to training in additional services
