Job summary

Superdrug Stores plc in Castleford is hiring for a friendly pharmacy team member, either qualified Dispenser or someone starting as a Trainee Pharmacy Assistant. We offer 12 hours per week, with a full day on Tuesday and 4 hours on Friday, salary £13.80 per hour for Dispenser or £13.00 for Trainee.

No previous experience required, with NVQ Level 2 preferred but not essential; you’ll receive full training and be part of a supportive, customer-focused team across counter sales and dispensary.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supporting the pharmacy team with counter sales and stock replenishment
• Delivering exceptional service across both the pharmacy counter and dispensary
• Ensuring customers and patients are served with care, efficiency, and professionalism
• Maintaining high standards of presentation and merchandising

We’re Looking For:

• Either NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing (or equivalent) ORa keen interest in healthcare to begin your pharmacy career with us as a trainee pharmacy assistant.
• No prior experience required – just a passion for healthcare and customer service
• A friendly, positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work well in a team or independently
• Confidence to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Passionate about learning and open to training in additional services
