Job summary

Superdrug is looking for friendly individuals to join our pharmacy team in Castleford. We welcome qualified Dispensers and those starting as a Trainee Pharmacy Assistant, offering real training and development in a supportive, customer-focused environment.

The role is 8 hours per week, mainly Saturdays 9:00–17:00, with some weekday availability. Pay is £13.80 per hour for Dispensers or up to £13.00 per hour for Trainees, with benefits and career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing or equivalent, or interest in healthcare to begin trainee role.
• No prior experience required; passion for healthcare and customer service.
• Friendly, positive attitude; willing to learn.
• Ability to work in a team or independently.
• Confidence to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Open to training in additional services.

Responsibilities

• Support the pharmacy team with counter sales and stock replenishment.
• Deliver exceptional service across the pharmacy counter and dispensary.
• Ensure customers and patients are served with care, efficiency, and professionalism.

Location: Castleford
Hours: 8 hours per week - Mainly Saturdays 9-17:00 with availability during weekdays if possible.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supporting the pharmacy team with counter sales and stock replenishment

We’re Looking For:
