Job summary

The Royal Veterinary College in Potters Bar is offering a part-time Dispensary Stock Assistant position in The Queen Mother Hospital for Animals. You will join a friendly dispensary team and help manage deliveries, stock control and distribution of supplies to clinical areas.

This role requires good communication, proactive attitude and strong eye for detail. Part-time hours are 21 per week, typically Monday to Friday, 1pm to 5pm, with some flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Unpack deliveries (consumables, drugs and equipment) and distribute stock.

Job description

We currently have an exciting part-time opportunity for a Dispensary Stock Assistant to work in The Queen Mother Hospital for Animals. This position is ideal for someone who is an excellent communicator, is proactive, has an eye for detail and is organised. Ideally you would have good knowledge or experience of managing supplies and stock control.

Working as part of our friendly and enthusiastic dispensary team, you will be responsible for unpacking deliveries (consumables, drugs and equipment) and distributing stock around the hospital, ensuring that sufficient stock levels are maintained in clinical areas and sourcing alternatives, as necessary. You will also assist the dispensary team with general day-to-day tasks.

This a part-time position, working 21 hours per week across Monday - Friday ( e.g. 1 pm - 5 pm )

We are open to discuss a variation of these hours for the right candidate.

Full training and support will be provided.
