Job summary

The Queen Mother Hospital for Animals is seeking a part-time Dispensary Stock Assistant to join the friendly dispensary team at the The Queen Mother Hospital for Animals. You will unpack deliveries (consumables, drugs and equipment) and distribute stock around the hospital, ensuring sufficient stock levels are maintained in clinical areas and sourcing alternatives when needed.

This 21-hour-per-week role (e.g., 1 pm–5 pm, Monday–Friday) offers full training and benefits.

Job description

Dispensary Stock Assistant

We currently have an exciting part-time opportunity for a Dispensary Stock Assistant to work in The Queen Mother Hospital for Animals. This position is ideal for someone who is an excellent communicator, is proactive, has an eye for detail and is organised. Ideally you would have good knowledge or experience of managing supplies and stock control.

Working as part of our friendly and enthusiastic dispensary team, you will be responsible for unpacking deliveries (consumables, drugs and equipment) and distributing stock around the hospital, ensuring that sufficient stock levels are maintained in clinical areas and sourcing alternatives, as necessary. You will also assist the dispensary team with general day-to-day tasks.

This a part-time position, working 21 hours per week across Monday - Friday ( e.g. 1 pm - 5 pm )

We are open to discuss a variation of these hours for the right candidate.
