Job description

Job Title: Dispensary and Governance Pharmacy Technician (Band 5)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our team at John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford. This permanent, full-time role (37.5 hours/week) involves supporting dispensary operations and governance activities, with opportunities for training as an Accredited Checking Technician and career progression to Band 5.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting dispensary, stores, and ward-based work on-site.
• Providing dispensing and checking duties under supervision.
• Training and inducting new staff, pharmacy apprentices, and trainees.
• Investigating incidents and errors, contributing to practice improvements.
• Conducting audits and supporting safety projects.
• Collating workload statistics and reports.
