Role: Dispatch Supervisor

Location: Deeside

Type: Permanent

Salary: £32,000 per annum

Due to continuous growth, Russell Taylor Group has an exciting opportunity for a Dispatch Supervisor to join our client's growing team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the despatch team to meet production and delivery schedules.
• Maintain accurate records of outgoing goods, shipping documentation, and despatch schedules.
• Monitor and improve processes to increase efficiency and reduce delays.
• Train, support, and motivate despatch operatives, ensuring team targets are achieved.
• Manage inventory and stock rotation to minimise waste and discrepancies.
• Allocate / book completed works orders on ERP system.
• Supervise the packaging of finished goods.
• Interact with team members to resolve problems, suggest improvement methods of working, and provide feedback in performance.
  
  

The Person

• Proven experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of despatch and warehouse procedures.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• IT literate - proficient in MS Office and warehouse/ERP systems.
