Job summary

Ryder's Homemade Bakery in the Exeter area is looking for a supervisor to oversee packing, orders and weekly planning. You will coordinate with bakery production and drivers to ensure timely delivery and efficient teamwork across departments.

The role offers a collaborative, family-run environment with flexible shifts, ongoing training and staff discounts, with opportunities for progression within our Devon-based bakery.

Responsibilities

• Packing orders accurately and timely
• Processing customer orders to bakery production teams
• Alerting production and driver teams of large orders
• Planning weekly rotas that take into account the predicted level of trade by day, season and special events and dates
• Managing your team holiday with reference to the level of trade
• Ordering the correct level of packing materials and other consumables required by your department
• Liaising regularly with the Drivers team to ensure both departments combine well together and assist in each other needs.
